"Keith and I retired to Troston in 1990 from a rather more hectic life in Hackney (London), where I taught children with moderate learning difficulties whose mother tongue was not English and Keith, a chartered engineer, worked for London Electricity.

Our son, Ian, is a computer programmer, and Heather and her husband Steve are scientists.

We are an ecumenical Christian family, with a mix of Anglican, URC and Free Church backgrounds and Keith and I enjoy being part of the Troston village community and church and of Southgate church in Bury St Edmunds.  I was licenced as a Reader in the Blackbourne Team in 1995.

Our main hobby is motor caravanning."
